The TrueHue project was created with the aim of developing high quality knitted fabrics by automating the production process through the implementation of Near-Infrared (NIR) spectroscopy technology applied to dyeing methods. By monitoring the dyebath and recording an extensive history of dyeing recipes and their output, predictive models will be developed. Through this, it will be possible to obtain fabrics with superior quality and to significantly reduce the total amount of time and resources consumed.
